Our sport Taekwon-Do class revolves around competition-style sparring, and is very similar to kick boxing.
The class structure is fundamentally similar to the Fighting Fit class, with the addition of contact drills, sparring strategy and free sparring.
The Sport TKD class includes:
- Offensive and defensive footwork
- Punching and kicking combinations
- Combinations on the heavy bags
- Power Kicking on the air-shields and Heavy bag
- Hand and foot drills on the mitts for speed
- Core strength and Stamina exercises
- Static and dynamic stretching for flexibility
- Balance and coordination exercises
- Sparring drills
- Free Sparring
