I'm a little late with this one, the deadline for entries is tomorrow, though we have a few students confirmed already. Each competitor will fight just once and the numbers are limited to 100, so it should be over within a couple of hours,and it's great way to introduce students to the competitive arena. I have application forms in the gym, and will be sending a list of competitors in tomorrow night. Anyone that cant get into the gym tomorrow can call me on 0872474488 and we'll get the details down over the phone, the forms themselves don't need to be in until the following friday (I'll be posting them on wednesday evening).
From the INTA website: The first INTA Junior Sparring Challenge will take place on Saturday February 11th, 2012 at 3.30pm in Donnycarney Community & Youth Centre, Clancarthy Road, Collins Avenue East, Dublin 5. If you need a little inspiration to get off that sofa and out the door, this might do the trick, Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee on his 80th birthday;
Thats the result of a lifetime of training, continous traing at that; I'm sure he didn't take a month off because he ate too much turkey and sprouts during any given festive holiday. If you get the hint. Yes you, I'm talking to you, put down that sausage and go iron your dobuk and I'll see you Monday.

Merry Christmas everybody,
We'll keep on training right up to Thursday the 22nd of December, and we'll get back on the mats on Wednesday the 4th of January. Thats nearly two weeks off so you'll probably need to fit a few push-ups in between turkey sandwiches and bouts of t.v. induced catatonia.
